My Day in Pasadena, California

I recently took a day trip from Los Angeles to Pasadena, and it was one I will not soon forget. Since it was my first time visiting, I checked out the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce’s website from my home in Los Feliz to see what events were going on when I wanted to visit. Lucky for ne, a UCLA football game was happening over at the Rose Bowl Stadium. Of course I did not want to give up a chance to cheer on my university’s team alongside my friends! When I arrived in Pasadena, after about a 30 minute drive, I stopped by The Luggage Room Pizzeria to nosh on some margherita pizza.

I met up with some friends and split a pie and a bottle of wine. After we had our fill, we stopped by Colorado Boulevard for some quick retail therapy. After we shopped until we almost dropped, it was time to head over to the stadium. First, we changed into our UCLA shirts and cheer skirts before making our way over to the student section. We stood for hours, did the Frisbee Cheer and yelled until we almost lost our voices. We had a great time at the game, and witnessed our boys take home a win against USC. I had fun, and hope to return soon.
